The 2020 Good Shepherd Campaign – Week One
This week, Archbishop LeGatt is launching the 2020 Good Shepherd Campaign, United Now More Than Ever in Christ, with the goal of raising $275,000 in support of the formation of our seminarians and to help counter the enormous impact of the pandemic on the Archdiocese and its parishes.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing information and testimonies with you through your parish and on the Archdiocesan website and Facebook page. You will notice that this year’s campaign will primarily take place online to adapt to the new reality of the COVID-19 pandemic and to allow us to be the best possible stewards of our resources.
We invite you to read the Meet Our Seminarians banner which introduces our seminarians and includes a word from Fr. Joshua Gundrum, our Archdiocesan Director of Vocations to the Priesthood, on what it means to discern a call to the priesthood. We also invite you to watch the videos featuring our most recently ordained priests, Frs. Brian Trueman (click here) and Jean-Baptiste Nguyen (click here), on what it means for them to be a priest.
The special collection will be held on October 31 & November 1. Please be generous in helping the Archdiocese reach its goal!
And most importantly, we invite you to pray for our seminarians as they continue to discern God’s will in their lives as they journey toward the priesthood.
