Volunteer Opportunities

Holy Cross Church

There are so many ways you can share your time, gifts and talents! We are always looking for volunteers who can help in these areas:

Adult Sacramental Prep Team
Building (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, labour/construction, design/painting, gardening)
Care Ministry (visits to the sick, elderly, disabled and hospitalized)
Children’s Liturgy leaders
Communion Ministers, Readers, Altar Servers, Musicians, Singers, Greeters
Food Bank/Soup Kitchen (We currently have a waiting list for volunteers)
Fundraising (computer skills, researching, letters & proposals, event planning)
Liturgical Environment (decorating, floral, sewing, design, construction)
Office Assistance (answering phones, bulletin inserts, greeting visitors)
Social events (planning/organizing, gathering volunteers)
Website (photos, videos, writers/contributors/bloggers)
Youth Ministry (music, activity planning)
